Public auction history

Auction bid amounts and timestamps are visible on the public YCH pages, but bidder contact details are not shown publicly. Contact details are only visible to the artist/admin inside the site admin area and in notification emails.

Bid notification subscriptions

If you choose to enable browser notifications after placing a YCH auction bid, this website stores the push subscription data needed to send you notifications about later bids on that same YCH. These notifications are tied to the browser/device where you enabled them and can stop working if you clear browser data, revoke notification permission, or unsubscribe in browser settings.

Browser-local storage

After a successful YCH submission, the contact information you entered may be saved locally in your browser so future YCH forms can be prefilled on that same device. This local browser storage is only meant to reduce friction for repeat submissions and is not shared publicly.

Third-party services

Cloudflare is used for hosting, delivery, security, and Turnstile CAPTCHA verification
Resend is used to deliver notification emails to the configured site mailing list
Browser push services may process technical delivery data when you enable YCH bid notifications

These providers may process technical request data as part of operating their services.

Data retention

Submitted commissions, YCH applications, YCH bids, push subscription records, timestamps, and related moderation notes may be kept for operational records, fraud prevention, auction integrity, and follow-up unless manually removed.

Your choices

Do not submit a commission or YCH form if you do not want the submitted information stored and reviewed by the artist
You can clear browser-local saved contact information by clearing this site's local storage in your browser
You can stop YCH bid notifications by unsubscribing in your browser's notification settings or by clearing the relevant browser data
If you need a submitted entry removed, contact the artist and include enough information to identify the submission
